Robert Hofmann: Artist and Soldier in the Middle East

On Friday February 5th at 6 p.m., Broome County Arts Council will have a First Friday opening reception for their exhibit ’Robert Hofmann: Artist and Soldier in the Middle East’. Witness landscapes, livingscapes and everyday life in Egypt and Turkey during World War I through sketches by cultural attaché Robert Hoffman. This is a satellite exhibition which will be displayed throughout the month of February and is provided by the Binghamton University Art Museum’s Collection. The complimentary exhibit of Hoffman’s finished works are on display at the Binghamton University Art Museum Feb. 4-March 25, guest curated by Kent Schull, Associate Professor of Art History . The Robert Hofmann collection was generously donated to the University Art Museum by Mark Topp and James Skvarch. Join us at BCACs 5th Floor gallery space Stephens Square Bldg.
